Nike is set to release the Spike Lee Nike Air Safari 87 as a striking design for the shoe this month. The Spike Lee Nike Air Safari Nike Air 87 is close to the OG Safari with it’s Orange, Black, and Safari colorway while adding Yellow contrast stitching and Red around the ankle lining. The Spike Lee hit comes at the tongue tab with an embroidered glasses logo linking back to Spike Lee’s eye glasses.
The Spike Lee Nike Air Safari 87 Retro is set to release this month at select Nike accounts.

The passing of DJ AM (Adam Goldstien) hit home for a lot of folks, even down here in the DMV with the Crew. Here we see his work and legacy as a true sneaker collector continue through this release of the Dunk High Premium bearing his name. The model shown here is a signature model that features his name and logo on the tongue. The classic colorway of black and red, along with the traditional Dunk colorblocking, make this a great classic model. 3M is used on the swoosh to bisect the sneaker and it’s also used behind the Technics 1200 turntable-inspired perforations on the heel in gradient dots. Check back with the Crew for more information on this highly-anticipated release (which the Crew will undoubtedly put hands on).

While on Thanksgiving break, had a family member to ask one of our Crew about their watch of choice. And for a couple of us in the Crew, the Casio G-Shock watch is a must wear for any occasion. Pictured below is Chuck’s small, but useful collection. The stainless steel one is for “work”, the white one is for the red carpet, and the black one is for shoveling snow and working on RC cars.
Found this exploded view of a G-Shock on the web, but could not find a parts list to coincide with the numbers. But you still see from the pic below that from layers 1 through 4, you get some real protection for the internal components that keep your G-Shock tickin’. Part of the Crew is back from visiting beautiful New Jersey for Thanksgiving. Coming back last night was CRAAAAZZZYYYY! Anyone coming from NJ/NY back to DMV was truly upset. Took an hour and a half to get out of a rest area, and 7 hours and 15 minutes to get from north NJ back to DMV (mind you it only took 4 hours to get to NJ). Insane…
